Residential Project
Two impressive family homes
We were approached by Mr Tennant who owns a development company. He had recently purchased a section of land near Wetherby with the aim of building two detached houses. One would be for himself, the other for his son Danny.
The two homes were to be identical and built with red brick. Both required a garden room to the rear with an open aspect from the kitchen and an open porch to the front. During the build, internal frames were incorporated into a couple of the rooms.
Embark on the journey
We held a meeting at our office which they visited with a fixed brief. We took an instant liking to each other and after showing them both round our workshops and going through various design elements, they had a couple of decisions to make – and we had a quote to provide.
We knew we were competing against other companies. However, Mr Tennant said he was impressed with us as a company and we were awarded the contract.
Exposed oak rafters were required and the frame was to have a solid full height masonry wall to ¾ of one side elevation.
THE RELATIONSHIP WAS FANTASTIC THROUGHOUT AND WE WERE ON HAND AT EVERY STAGE, OFFERING ADVICE AND VISITING THE SITE WHEN REQUIRED
“I’m so so pleased with the work Paragon Oak carried out on our property. What a fantastic finish and such a great experience working with Paul, from the designing stage to the end product."
