Always going above and beyond, we offer free consultations in which we will come and visit you, enabling us to gather as much information as possible by seeing the site and discussing your own personal expectations and needs. We also love to offer these free consultations as a perfect opportunity to discuss your ideas and concepts face to face. To inspire your design, we bring along our extensive back catalogues and examples of previous projects we have completed, to illustrate the high standard of work we produce for our clients. Naturally, due to the covid-19 pandemic, we had to close our doors to in-office consultations to keep our customers safe, always putting our customer’s welfare at the front of our minds. As the situation now continues to improve we are now very happy to welcome you back into our offices! With a fancy coffee machine, state of the art boardroom and open arms ready to welcome you back, why not make a day of it and visit us for a consultation followed by a light lunch or some proper English pub grub.

The Travellers Rest

Located in the heart of the Mirfield community, The Travellers Rest is an authentic Great British pub serving a varied range of food and drink. Pride themselves on delivering high-quality service on every visit you have them, whatever the occasion, you’re always welcome to call in to enjoy the stylish and comfortable surroundings whilst you catch up and reflect on the consultation you’ve had with us. 

 

Offering everything from traditional British beef and ale pie to authentic red Thai vegetable curry, they have a wide selection of dishes on their menu, and of course, plenty of alcohol if you’re after a cheeky afternoon tipple, with the bonus of their 2-4-6 multibuy deals currently available!

 

With free wifi available, as well as great quality coffee, a fantastic beer garden that offers a dog-friendly retreat come rain or shine, The Travellers Rest is a great place to unwind and see our work first hand as you take in the surroundings and look at some of the beautiful oak frames we have created, while you eat. 

 

Three Acres

If you’re looking for more of a fine dining experience, Three Acres is the place for you. Set in beautiful Pennine countryside, the 3 acres is a welcoming country inn, restaurant and wedding venue! Owned by the Truelove family for over 50 years, you can be assured a warm welcoming awaits you, along with excellent food, exceptional service and even private dining rooms. 

 

Offering an extensive choice of cuisine with full menus dedicated to breakfast, summer a la carte, Sunday lunch, private dining, pudding, cheese & dessert wine, and even a full menu aimed at vegetarians, you will be spoiled for choice. 

 

Woodman Inn

If a traditional pub is your thing, Woodman Inn will suit you perfectly. With roaring open fires, award-winning real ale, fine traditional pub fayre and a warm and friendly atmosphere, you will be sure to love it. 

 

The Woodman Inn has an excellent selection of local else to tempt your test buds, including Small World Beers Barncliffe Bitter, which is actually brewed just over a mile away from Barncliffe Mill in Shelley, offering you a true Yorkshire experience.  

 

Hungry? Woodman Inn’s menu is deliciously satisfying, with the a la carte menu available every day, no matter what day you are looking to come for a consultation, you can plan to head to Woodman afterwards. 

 

Featuring some old favourites with a modern twist, as well as a traditional “Pub Classics” menu and an offering of light bites if you’re looking for something small, what better way to finish the day than with local produce and daily specials to suit every taste. 

 

Yummy Yorkshire 

Looking for something sweet? Yummy Yorkshire not only showcases some of our greatest work from the outside but is also guaranteed to suit your sugar cravings. 

 

Established in 2007, Yummy Yorkshire started to make award-winning delicious artisan ice cream, right from their own dairy farm. Nestled in the heart of the Pennine Yorkshire countryside is their little farm, with a farming heritage handed down through generations of the Holmes family, they are proud to carry on this heritage today. 

 

With two permanent areas dedicated to selling ice cream on the farm, offering takeaway ice cream tubs, cold drinks, freshly made Barista coffees and hot waffles, you will be spoilt for choice on what to devour when taking in the views of our Yorkshire and the oak frames we produced for Yummy Yorkshire. 

 

Blacksmith Arms

A proper English pub. The Blacksmith Arms is so old school it doesn’t even have an official website – just a Facebook page to advertise their homemade pub grub. Located in Kirkheaton, only 5 minutes away from our Paragon Oak base, it’s a convenient little stop off after your consultation. You will be met with a stunning outdoor area as well as the option of dining inside with traditional pub decor, whatever you decide, you’re in for a treat. 

We can’t wait to welcome you back for in-person consultations, it has been a really tough couple of years for everyone throughout the pandemic and we are already so happy to have our lovely clients back in our state of the art meeting room to discuss your design inspirations, expectations and dreams for your oak frames.
